I've been using KS Dip system for about a year. What a savings. This video is good however they forgot to mention that you need to lightly buff the nail before applying the bond. You can see her nails are buffed. This is an important step. The cost of my KS was about $100. I've spent over $30 at the salon for the same service. Since purchasing I've done my own nails over 10 times which has saved me money, not to mention avoiding the high cost of the nail salon. Thanks KS for the natural nail application.

They do say "prep the nails", but I would prefer if they spelled it out as you did. I may make my own cheat sheet and print it out to keep in my supply box. The older videos also didn't mention the alcohol wipe step, which I'm pleased this video does show.
@KiaraSkyNails7 жыл бұрын
You girls are absolutely right! Nail preparation is very important and we got in the habit of saying "prep the nail" but we will definitely spell it out in future videos. The most important step is to push back the cuticle and remove the shine from the natural nail with a file or e-file. Doing this avoids lifting and ensures a long-lasting result.

It might seem like it but when you are doing it in real life it only takes about 30 minutes to do a full set and if you are not very experienced it will take about 45 min, way less time than acrylic application.

I do it at home, and for me trying to do acrylic (not a trained pro obviously) takes 2+ hours bec its hard to do in my opinion.Doing the dip powder at home for me only takes 35 minutes even though all that dipping can seem like a lot haha. Its rather fast since its just like painting nail polish but the only difference is you dip and brush off access before you continue. Dry time is super quick so you can do finger after finger constantly! I suggest to try it out and see if u like it.

For the Top Coat, make sure you don't allow them to come into contact with wet Seal Protect. After applying it rub it in with a lint free cloth and allow it to dry for a minute. Then apply thin coats of the Top Coat. If it is already hard, replace the brush or use the brush saver. Also, after using the top coat wipe it down to ensure no left over seal protect is on the brush to avoid contaminating the entire bottle!

Thank you for trying out our system! 💖 Bulky or uneven results can happen sometimes, but no worries-it’s an easy fix! To avoid build-up near the cuticle, try applying thin, even layers and keep a slight gap between the product and your cuticle. Also, be sure to gently brush off excess powder between layers. For any bumps or unevenness, you can smooth them out with a file and buff before applying your top coat. Let us know if you have more questions-we’re here to help! 💅✨

can you explain what is the difference between bond, primer etc?
@KiaraSkyNailsАй бұрын
Hi there! 😊 Great question! Here’s a quick breakdown for you: Bond: Acts like double-sided tape for your nail products, helping them adhere to the natural nail surface for longer-lasting results. Primer: Preps the nail by removing oils and creating the perfect base to prevent lifting. Think of it as the foundation for a flawless manicure! Both are super important for durability, but they play slightly different roles. Let us know if you have any more questions-we’re happy to help! 💖

@KiaraSkyNails5 жыл бұрын
This is a diamond bit. We recommend a medium diamond bit or a medium cone bit over a sanding band unless you're a beginner. In which case we recommend a sanding band to start out with. It takes longer to take down product making it less likely that you'll accidentally take off too much product. Hope that helps! 💅🏻💕

If I wait a day later to open the top coat bottle again, it’s just fine, but if I open it again after just opening it a few minutes earlier to apply the first top coat, the brush starts hardening at the tip. Even my bottle becomes hard to open 😢
