Did you make the edible transfer sheet? If so what machine do you have?

Hi. I just rewatched this tutorial (glad I did 😊); may I ask what type of paper it is that you used and where I can purchase? Please & thank you, again. 😊

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to ask a question! The “paper” is an icing sheet. These are the ones I buy. amzn.to/48taDl9

Does the piping gel that's showing dry clear? I tried using Karo syrup and any syrup that "oozed" out showed on the cookie.
@sugarbeezllc11 ай бұрын
Hi Denise, if it’s oozing out, you’re putting on too much. I use a clean paint brush or sponge brush to spread the karo syrup or piping gel on the back of the edible paper. You want it to be a very thin layer so that it doesn’t ooze out. If it does ooze out, wipe it away immediately using a clean dry finger using care not to touch the printed areas so you don’t smear the ink. I hope this helps!!

Hi. I just came across this tutorial and was wondering if you could tell me how you cut the images? Please & thank you. 😊

Hi! I used a silhouette Cameo to cut the edible paper I had printed (with a food safe printer) on edible paper from Amazon amzn.to/457zfy5

Is there a reason you don’t place the piping gel on the cookie and then add image directly to cookie?

I currently use icing and always need to add a border because the images lift on the edges. Do you have lifting issues with the piping gel?
@sugarbeezllc2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I did have issues with lifting occasionally, and then I would use a border to keep them down.

Do the edible images last ok on a cookie for a few days? And have you ever tried freezing them? Thank you!
@sugarbeezllc2 жыл бұрын
They do great for about a week, that’s as long as I have kept one before it was eaten. I have not ever frozen them. If you try freezing them, let us know how it goes!

How does the icing sheet taste? or do you peel the words off?
@sugarbeezllc3 жыл бұрын
It is a little sweet, but it's flavor is overshadowed by the icing that it is placed on. Some people remove the sheet before eating, some eat the cookie with the sheet on it. It's personal preference. But I have never had anyone complain about the taste.

How do the images get cut on the printed sheet? Did you print it and then run it through a cricut?

Hi Donna, yes, that is exactly how I did it. I printed them than ran them through my Silhouette Portrait. Such a time saver!

Can I use icing instead piping gel?
@sugarbeezllc4 жыл бұрын
franciris garcia You can certainly try, but it doesn’t stick as well and if you thin it too much it makes the paper too wet. You can use corn syrup if you do not or cannot get piping gel.
