I have slightly hooded eyes and have used tips you've given in previous videos. But I have a bone to pick with the people commenting "but you don't have hooded eyes" on this video. You make it very clear that you don't. But as a professional MUA and teacher, I'm sure you've worked on clients that do. Thank you. I have RMS and I’ve been putting it all over the lid. Think I like this idea. Mascara is a struggle with transfer with hooded eyes too. I use a waterproof mascara and that works best for me

Nina, I had hooded eyes and had surgery about 6 months ago to remove the extra skin. It was a game changer. Since I had very hooded eyes, I can say this is a wonderful tutorial. I also love that I can use it now, as well, for beautiful open eyes.

I think it’s amazing how the rms color sunbeam which is a very peachy color turns light yellow golden on her eyelids . It would probably look to orange on my cool skin tone . I agree with comment below she has no business wearing concealer w such a gorgeous natural skin tone . Very nice tutorial. I have two of these RMS eye shadows and a little goes a long way . Applying to hand first and lightly dab is key .

Ive seen other video's with those who do have lightly hooded eyes, and they say if yo look straight ahead, you can create a fake crease above your real crease. That works for me.

I have semi hooded eyes. After watching this, I now wonder why I put eyeshadow in the socket when it really doesn’t show anyway. 😮😅. I will definitely switch the socket eye shadow to the outside of the eye, like you demonstrated. I’m excited for this, thanks Nina!

What about creating a faux crease above the crease to open up the eye? Not cut creasing, but just creating some dimension above the hood.

I'm going to try this! It seems like something that will work on my 65-year-old eyes, which now are completely hooded because the skin has dropped to reach my eyelashes. Which is sad because my eyes are my thing. Hopefully this will be a solution I can use regularly.

The skin from my upper lid actually hangs over the outer edge of my lower lash line. It is impossible to connect shadow from my lower lash line to the upper because the skin that hangs over creates a ledge. Hope this makes sense. Any suggestions on how to connect shadow from the lower lash line to the upper?

Same here. The problem with hooded eyes is that the eye lids are hardly visible when eyes are opened and that happens most often to mature skin age 60s plus.

I have very hooded eyes, and very low brow line, close to my lids. Added to that, I have one eye that is lazy, extremely so, and also crows feet wrinkles. Getting any method to work well on my eyes is a pain in the arse!
