It's good that I was able to view this vlog of yours. I have already booked our airfare (late November this year) without any idea how to secure our visa this time. This is my wife and I's 3rd time to go to Korea. On the 1st 2, we had a 3-year visa issued to us, although our other companions (son, relatives, and friends) were granted only single entry visa (during our first visit, 2017). That time I handled the entire processing for 14 of us: personally submitted applications (walk in at that time); no agency involved, and I paid nothing for them..... Last night, I tried to inquire from a known Travel Agency, and it prompted me to study the procedure more closely this time, specially after being told that they charge 2,500 per applicant, once they accept applications for a pre-approved appointment. I guess this travel agency knows how difficult it is this time to secure a Korean visa..... My question: was there a fee you paid to the Embassy when you filed your application? ...... No need, as long as they are immediate fam members (spouse, parents, children max of 5 I believe). Please make sure though to bring w/ you proof of relationship ex: birth cert, marriage cert etc 3. Hello I’m not really sure about this po, since ako lang po kasi mag isa yung nag punta sa embassy. But, I think they will understand naman po kung senior na ang applicant, baka i-allow naman po nila na makapasok ang kasama. Pede nyo rin po tawagan ang embassy para sure.

Hello Via! Sad to hear that 😞 You can try checking their website from time to time, there might be opened slots for people who had to cancel their appointment for some reasons. I cannot guarantee though. I’ve read in one blog post na there are rare days na biglang may nag oopen. Best to call the Korean embassy just to be sure.

Yes super tagal, what I did was reload and reload, since the authentication code expires after a few minutes. So try ng try until mag match.

Visa application po should be w/in 3 months from travel date. So May po would be a good time to apply, appointment for May will open on last Thursday of April. But please check their website and FB acct from time to time as there may be changes. You may also get appointment for April but validity is usually 59 days from time of issue. So baka bitin pag travel date ng July.

Visa application should be within 3 months of intended travel. Start date of visa effectivity is from date of issue up to 59days for short term stay. In your case dulo na sya ng month, I suggest you pick a date that would cover your entire stay w/in the 59 day period from visa issuance. If it would be available better to pick last week of March as appointment date for today’s slots opening (this is in the assumption that you will be staying for less than a month). Nevertheless, kindly base your appointment date on the length of stay w/ considerations on visa effectivity date.

For the student na wala pong COE and ITR, yung mag sponsor lang po sa travel expenses nya ang need mag provide for him/her. There is a question in the app form kung sino po gagastos, just indicate lang din po dun name ng sponsor who also submitted his/her ITR. For the others po na working and who will spend for their own travel, need po to provide COE and ITR.

Not required po ang airline ticket details. In fact they discourage buying tickets before securing visa. In the application form though, they ask for intended travel date and location of where you’ll stay. No need to book hotel though, just place the location.

Hello Katrina! I’m sorry I got confused with the question, what do you mean by “kahit hindi all members of the fam”? You can fill up the application form for a fam member since there’s section in the form that says “Did you receive assistance in filling up the form?”. Your email address can be used/placed in your dad’s app form. I used my email add for my parents as well. 🙂

Hi, the embassy’s rule is one can secure an appointment slot for immediate family members, I think it’s max 5 pax, please also visit their website just to learn more. They are quite strict in appointment slots.

if may business po kayo, you may check reqs for business person sa embassy website, but if no source of income, I’m not really sure po, maybe you can submit bank cert and bank statement of cousin, and explain through cover letter. Best to call the embassy to be sure po.

Hello, you can also submit cover letter, but it should be submitted along with your complete requirements in the embassy po mismo. Done online lang po pag kuha ng slot sa embassy for requirements submission.

Hello, there are different options in the embassy website, however “unemployed” is not included in the list. If kayo po ay “businessman”, may option po doon, the others po na pede rin for unemployed but I think hindi po fit sa inyo ay “retirees” at “housewives”. If freelancer po kayo, I believe you can pass other documents in replacement to COE like tax documents, proof of business etc. Better pa rin po to ask the embassy just to be sure.

Hi po! We were able to get appointment for visa application in March ☺️ this is for a family trip. Tita, lola and cousins. The time I selected is 9:30 for everyone (individual) pero sa tita ko, sinabay ko ung name ng lola ko since pasok sya as her immediate family pero 9:30 ung time na selected ko. Is it okay po ba? 😢

Unfortunately no. Ksi ung mga napanuod kong yt vids sabi 9:30 lang kunin na time huhu. Nung nagtry kmi kumuha ng appt ulit for lola, 28k+ na ung waiting. Do you think they will allow it po? Mahigpit ba si Korean embassy when it comes to appointment time?

To clarify po, all of us have the 9:30 slot sa chosen date pero instead na own appt si lola, under sya sa appt ni tita and I put her name & passport number po dun sa parang box na pwede mag-enter ng details.

hello, if lola is the mother of tita, she is considered an immediate family member. And that is allowed. One can apply for immediate family members- parents, children and spouse. Regarding time, no problem with 9.30am since lola is still under the “tourist category” right? BTW congrats for securing appt slots!

Hello Trix! I suggest you submit a cover letter for the explanation re sponsorship ng brother mo. Maybe you can also show them proof of relationship and his proof of means? Best to call the embassy para sure 🙂 Yes if sibling it should be a different appointment slot. Please also check their embassy website from time to time as guidelines may be revised, andun rin yung included for them as “immediate family member”, w/c is the reference for this vid.
