Quick update I did the payment on Thursday night, got the transaction number but it’s pending and I should wait for their email. On Friday it’s still the same only I realized they didn’t charge my card yet even though I got that transaction number. Well it’s weekend now so I’m hoping I get good news on Monday. ( I did try to make a payment again but the Pay button won’t work and every time I go back to home page the notification that I got a pending transaction and need to wait for their email pops up) I’m dying 🤣. How long for yours to get the transaction email and proceed to step 3? I’m anxious 😬

@@MissFluppy ​​⁠This is the tricky part. If you have used the Visa card, most likely the transaction gets declined. Call your card company and confirm. They never send you an email if the transaction gets declined. However if it gets approved you should be able to download the payment receipt almost instantly. After multiple failed Visa card attempts I finally tried Mastercard and it worked instantly and I was able to download my payment confirmation.

Excellent job. Very clear and helpful. I have further questions: Is the scanned passport file the only pdf file to be uploaded? What about hotel / itinerary- air tickets reservations? Or will We just provide all that info via the corresponding online form on their web page? Thanks in advance for your help.

Thank You! Scanned passport in pdf is the best option as you will have to scan all the pages and upload it in a single file. For travel details like hotel and flight, you will just be asked to enter the details but not the proof of the reservation.

Hi, when applying for the visa, did you run into the problem that you select "no" for a question and it would not be saved (it just went back to "nothing selected" before moving on to the next page. Or for example I select No to the question "Have you visited Argentina before", the window of select your last travel date pop up. It seems quite strange... Same problem when answering questions about work, my answers would not be saved. Thanks for the help in advance.

Hi. Yes, I ran into the same issue while completing my form. As long as you fill in all the details and click "next", there should be no issues. If for any reason you click "back" and you see missing data, just refill the missing details and move forward. That's what I did.

Hi. I paid the fees, got the transaction number and payment receipt as well, but while logging in with the passport number and transaction id - it says credentials are not matching. Anyone else faced the same issue ?

Haven't faced this issue. Contact the embassy to get the issue resolved.

What "other data" did they ask for - including ITR/salary slip/bank data etc??? Did they ask for any information (like itinerary/invitation letter) in Spanish like the offline process? Thanks in advance

They asked for the high level itinerary but no proofs, Hotel name, Address of hotel, Employer information, Annual salary etc. They did not ask for any proofs for ETA and everything in english.

Trying to make the payment, but i got the message "The Card Validator replied with the following message (in Spanish): Transacción rechazada We recommend that you wait about 30 minutes before attempting the operation again." My card is valid for international txns but still i got this msg :(

Thanks! I would put a specific city. Flying to Chile should be ok. I stayed for around 15 days. The e visa is granted for 3 months from the day it is approved. So, you should plan to apply 3 months before you will exit Argentina.

There are conflicting information about the Schengen visa. In the online application form there is a section which asks for Schengen visa details.

If your card is not charged, you might want to try another card especially Master Card. Try a couple of Master Cards (Mine worked with the one which HAS foreign transaction fees).
