Thank you so much, that means a lot to hear! I'm glad you enjoy the animations as I spend way too much time on them for just a few seconds long clip. 😅 I created the graphics in Illustrator then the motion in Premiere Pro. I've been thinking I should make the map animations in After Effects but haven't gotten around to migrating it over yet, though I know it will be much easier to animate them there than in Premiere! I hope this helps.

Amazing planning. Did you guys have any issues with acclimating to the altitude at the atacama ?

Thank you! It was definitely a lot of coordinating haha. Luckily we did not have any issues with acclimating, but we did feel extra tired that first day or two I'd say. We were a little nervous for the El Tatio geysers, but you're only up there for a couple hours and the guides were very attentive to make sure no one in the group was feeling symptoms of altitude sickness. Made sure to drink plenty of water and get a good nights sleep each night. Hope this helps!

i cannot believe you drove to the atacama desert at night, plenty of spooky stories in that region. The truck drivers often report that by sleeping besides the road you can hear screams and steps, that if you dont secure your vehicle while you are asleep, you will be woken up by something trying to open it up.

What time of the year did you guys go? I'm going from Sept 18-Oct 8 this year and am hoping to see flamingos!

Wow that's so exciting! We visited in early July, near the start of the winter season, which isn't "the best" time to see flamingos but we saw plenty. They are scattered around the salt flats year round so I'm sure you will see them too! Definitely recommend visiting Laguna Chaxa as one of the best places to spot flamingos. Enjoy your trip!!

Hi, thanks for watching! We had a 70-300mm lens that was zoomed in to 300mm for those shots of the flamingos. To be honest, we wished we had something with even more reach! Hope this helps.

That is a really tough question! Of the countries we've visited so far, I think I would have to say Chile. Honestly it had the most varied and breathtaking landscapes that nothing has compared to so far. Especially Patagonia - it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. But also I loved Thailand for the incredible landscapes and food!

How much it cost?

Good question! The flights are the most expensive part (we paid about $2500 USD total for 2 people) including from the US to Chile and the inter-country flights. The other big cost was our all-inclusive stay in Patagonia (about $2600 for 3 nights) but there are much cheaper stay options in Patagonia if you didn't care about all-inclusive, especially if you are visiting in the spring and summer when more camps and hotels are open. Besides that, including our other hotels, transport, and meals, this trip cost us about $6500 USD total for 2 people. But there are definitely ways to do it cheaper! I hope this helps.

And that's even though you may not have been to Brazil, or to another Central American country... I've had the opportunity to travel through several Latin American countries lately, and it's been quite an odyssey... And that's where I feel like going back to Chile, because it's still the safest country in the region... Its police are honest and trustworthy, which is not the case in the vast majority of Latin American countries, unfortunately... Road safety in Chile is surprising, first-class... The internet connection system and its benefits are also first-class, occupying 3rd place worldwide, even surpassing many European countries... Not to mention the public transportation system, the best in all of Latin America... Therefore, there are more positive things that make traveling through Chile and its capital an unforgettable experience... The issue of crime, as I said, is much lower than in many other countries... State institutions work, the economy in Chile is surprising, occupying the first places in all of Latin America... For all this and much more, Chile continues to be the best country....

@@manueltroncosotoro4401 I just said Santiago not mention the whole country The biggest crime wave of the big cities like Santiago came from people of Haiti, Colombia and Venezuela all the contrary with the local people they're warm and friendly even that be careful with your stuff there so many thief, avoid places like La Vega Central.
