Here are the websites/links that were mentioned in this talk.
1. DAAD Website:
www.daad.de/en/
DAAD is the German Academic Exchange Service. Their website gives every information you need about German education, for Germans as well as non-Germans. It has a catalog of every single bachelor, master and phd program in all universities in Germany. Also, they have an office in Colombo to get further assistance.
Bachelor/Master catalog: www2.daad.de/deutschland/stud...
PhD catalog: www2.daad.de/deutschland/prom...
2. Anabin:
anabin.kmk.org/no_cache/filte...
This is a non-german university grading system. Those whose universities are graded as H+ are deemed recognised in Germany and graduates of those unis can apply for higher studies in Germany. H- are unrecognised unis and H+/- are unis whose degrees may or may not be recognised (sort of a grey area and acceptance depends on the german uni you applied to)
If you wanna see this site in English, I suggest you use Chrome browser and press translate page which will appear as a pop-up. The other sites are in English so they are fine
3. Uni-assist:
www.uni-assist.de/en/
This a international university degree evaluation service for german universities. Most german universities require a certificate from uni-assist validating your degree. However, I personally didnt have to go through this procedure so I do not know too much about it. I will try and ask around but I think that will be too much for the video.
