I'd like to give out my own example for the matter. I've done my undergraduate research on groundnut value chains. It got accepted for a research symposium done by a business management faculty of a Malaysian university. My major is Agriculture though.

How could you relate research for language studies- I know you have no idea since you have done sciences.
