I have a business that I run from Home, and I’m registered with the SAM using my home address, but since mbe wants to visit on site, can I create a Virtual address? Does it make a conflict with the SAM? Thanks and Regards ❤️❤️

for the MBE you will need to gain a office lease with your VO provider. for example: if you pay REGUS or WEWORK then you will need to sign up for a lease to show that this is your physical B&M. having a VO subscription wouldn't be enough for this certification.

The SBA assist with the MBE as well however the MBE Certification is through the minority business development agency, not the SBA. SBA is only in charge of the 8(a) certification.

If you are start up, no. You will need to be in business at least two years they are not trying to give out certifications to just any old business like LLCs lol. Certifications is something you have to earn.

Is it true that some states (like PA) do not directly offer an MBE through the state. Requiring a reciprocal certification first, and then PA accepts that and issues the state MBE?

Then I advise waiting until you get the required documents needed for this opportunity. To best understand what each document is, reach out to the regional agent using the tools on their site. Before you get in contact with them; review the list of requirements and prepare a list of questions. Moreover; Use Google to assist you in understanding the process to get the documents needed. You can reach out to the MBDA and speak with a member of their organization who has success stories. Most black business owners DONT get this certification because they don’t want to identify as a “Minority Owned Business” which makes a lot of sense. Considering under the new presidential administration all “DEI funded programs “ are over. So it doesn’t matter if you have this or not because; under the new laws; EVERYONE will have opportunities not just the Minorities and Women. Furthermore, resulting in All entrepreneurs competing for all the same opportunities. Instead of having to compete against 10 minority businesses; in 2025 you will compete against the RICH, WELL CONNECTED, and the SMARTEST. The competition for Funding in ALL sectors will be extremely competitive and may seem close to impossible to achieve for small “minority” businesses.

3:15 That is not true. Just because you are "from" a country outside of the USA does not make you a "minority". If you are White regardless of what country you were born in whether it be France, Australia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, or whatever other country you are not considered a "minority". If you are "from" a European country and are of exclusively European ancestry you are definitely not considered a minority. Also, most MBE-approving organizations recognize MENA (people of Middle Eastern or North African ancestry) people as "White".Please educate yourself and do some research before making such statements. Nationality ≠ Race or ethnicity. You can be of an ethnicity and be of any nationality.
