do you think this would work on a polyethylene tent wall? trying to get set up for my candle events and want to swindle my way around paying $400+ for a customized tent 😅
@ElleBeeCreates Жыл бұрын
PE is plastic and has a pretty low melting point (LDPE as low as 105°C) so it would be a risky endeavor to me personally. Rather then risk it, I would suggest getting a blank vinyl banner and applying Adhesive Vinyl to it and hanging it from the top beams of the tent. This also future proofs your tent (in event of rebranding or upgrading and wanting to sell off the old tent), or allows it to be used for other reasons. You can get a 2’x4’ banner for about $10, or spend some more and order one professionally printed from somewhere like VistaPrint. Both options for sure save you from spending so much on a customized tent.

Did your letters stretch out when you put it on your table tho?
@ElleBeeCreates6 ай бұрын
No because this is not a stretch table cloth. If you’re using one of the ones that stretches, I advise you to use a front/back runner that drapes over the stretch one to add your logo.

Did you use SportFlex HTV for this since it's a stretchy tablecloth?
@ElleBeeCreates2 жыл бұрын
It really wasn’t a stretchy tablecloth. I don’t add HTV to the ones that stretch down around the table legs, there’s not an HTV that stretches that much. Your best bet if you want to decorate one anyway would be to stretch it first, then apply the HTV while it’s stretched. I wouldn’t recommend Cricut HTV either, StarCraft SoftFlex would be a great choice tho.

This is a very nice thorough video. Is this a 16x20 heat press and could table clothes be pressed on a 15x15? Thanks
@ElleBeeCreates4 жыл бұрын
You could do it in any size press, tacking it down with the iron first helps keeps everything in place while you reposition it in the press

I’m not sure if you answered this but what did you do to keep it from burning cause I heard it was harder to iron on that material?
@ElleBeeCreates3 жыл бұрын
It’s 100% polyester, it handles the heat very well, no burning
@wardaahmed46922 жыл бұрын
Which material is that?
@ElleBeeCreates2 жыл бұрын
It’s a tablecloth. Likely polyester.

What is the height of your letter? And what instrument did you use to measure center placement for the table cloth
@ElleBeeCreates6 жыл бұрын
I did my cut 12” tall. I used a lion edge ruler, there’s a link for it in the videos description. Thanks for watching.

Thank you for sharing I have to make several tablecloths with dept names on them can I ask what HTV you're using? I wish I had a press it looks like it was made for tablecloths :)
@ElleBeeCreates7 жыл бұрын
In this particular video I was using the house brand HTV from Heat Transfer Warehouse but I typically use Siser Easyweed. It can definitely be done with an iron! Just need to do more pressure for longer than I did here in the video so it will stay durable and long lasting.
