How to apply redesign with prima decoupage papers

The pattern you are using looks like interfacing that you use when sewing jackets or collars. Interfacing allows you to stiffen a collar or cuffs or a placket on a jacket. That makes me think I could print off my own designs on interfacing. But I don't know what kind of inks work with decoupage. The truth is it would probably be easier just to buy it. And the designs are prettier. I might try a light interfacing with dried flowers glued to it. This spawned some creative ideas. Thank you. You worked hard on this. It is very pretty!

New subscriber here. Have been binge watching and learning so much. Your work is amazing. Just starting working on my first chalk paint project. I bought an amazing vintage 1930s vanity. I've painted it antique white and still haven't decided what to do it looks so plain. I've destressed a little and haven't replaced the mirrors yet. Replaced knobs. The mirrors weighted more than the vanity.lol the old thick lead they used. I have yet to replace mirrors. I thought I'd try a mirror in the middle but something different on the side mirrors. Idk I'm at a loss have any suggestions? I want to give it a rich look. It seems everyone is using white and I love the rich colors. The white looks great it just seems boring and needs a kick. I also was wondering if you can use any decoupage paper? Thank you for the inspiration. Beautiful work.

Well, it seems that there is a right and wrong side to the decoupage tissue? That didn''t get mentioned in the video or the instructions. Also, the package I bought was folded and no amount of flattening would get the creases out. I'm hoping that a couple of coats of the Decoupage Gel will help. After I discovered that the creases wouldn't flatten, while I wait for the first coat of gel to dry, I tried taking a clothing steamer to the leftover pieces and that took the creases out nicely. I hope I haven't ruined my piece.

I want to use this method of applying paper to a serving tray. After applying the satin and it dries, will it still be okay to put a couple of coats of gator hide to make it water safe? Thanks !! Great and informative video.

wait. They are just stickers? Im really green, and mad at the world for not letting me in on this one. I want to do this on candles, but how do i make sure the design fits? Also, which glue do you use? Do you use different glue for different items? I paid $9 for one bottle of hodge podge. Also, do i use matte finish glue or the not so matte finish lol.
