Seems like e visa systems are not working or takes longer time. My application done on December 25th and still the status shows “awaiting adjudication outcome”. Many travelers faced same issues and even after several months status remained same.

@@RameshRamesh-me4gm I got my visa 4 days back. It takes 30-40 days for them to look into your case. Also i contacted several personal in Home affairs department. You may get their contact from home afairs website.

I think this video is a bit misleading, and I would suggest those who want to visit South Africa for whatever reasons to visit nearest VFS and apply for a tourist visa - which has minimum paperwork.
