Oh my god this seems infinitely easier than glue. Every time i try to glue the hairline i just get hair stuck in the glue.

Glue in front, if your haircut leaves you with an exposed hairline, and then tape everywhere else. Best combination believe me

Isn’t it easier to apply the tape with the system off the head (maybe on a mannequin head) and leave the backing on until the system is in place and ready to be stuck down completely?

Dip your scissors in warm water before each cut and nothing will stick to it. I tape the whole system perimeter before applying it to my head. No glue. No irritation and easier cleaning.

Why not just attach the tape to the front on the system before you attach the whole thing to your head first? Just leave the backing on until its on your head, then remove it.

super easy just put the tape on the hair piece first and then after that fix it on your head [dont put hair piece first on the head] you first put tape on the hair piece after that fix the hair piece on the head will take only take 3 minutes to do it

You're applying the tape wrong. The backer with the writing goes on the base.
