My boyfriend's needed a haircut for some time now. Before dinner I told him I could cut it, implying that I knew how. I hid in the bathroom and watched your video because I've never cut hair in my life, but I jumped at the chance to cut it anyway because he'd been avoiding it like the plague. When I told him afterward, he was one part horrified at the thought that he could have ended up looking like a crazed hobo, but three parts VERY pleased with my new skills. It should do. Just work as if it is there. It's a tricky one to find a model who is going bald for video as no one wants their bald spot on camera.

OMG it totally worked - turned out great! My son is thrilled! He does not like buzz cuts, which is all I knew how to do. He also gates salons😂 He told me he would be the mannequin, and if I tried and failed he would accept the buzz cut, and we would try again until I got it. But this method totally worked first try! It seems like a very simple tutorial, using only a comb, scissors and a trimmer....Easy to follow but of course it needs to be practiced...I have a fairly complete shaver for shaving myself and my children's hair and it looks like I only need scissors, a comb and trimmer only.. Thank you for demonstrating scissor over comb so simply. I'd love to see a video for cutting a ruff with very little side and top hair. I can't quite figure out how to connect what's there to the back when there's very little hair above the occipital.

If there is not enough hair above the occipital bone I often just leave that hair and let it grow for the next cut until there is enough hair that I can get the graduation from short to long from the Nape all the way to the crown.
