I’m currently working on researching where to go for college, so this is super useful! For me, there’s a very specific academic program that I’m looking for, but it’s also really important that I keep dancing since I can’t imagine I would be as happy without it in my life.

I am currently not in college and I am dedicating my time fully to dance right now. However, I definitely feel that it is possible to go to college and dance in a company full time. It will just take a LOTTT of time management and dedication, but I know many people who are doing it!

I've been dancing for about 13 years I think? And honestly, dance has always been a major part of my life, except I don't have THAT many classes (I try to train at home as much as I can though!) and my family doesn't really think it's that serious for me... Is there still a chance that I could do auditions like these, or do I just not have a chance to get in? (Obviously, I know trying is always worth it but I kind of want to know if I have like, any chance of being taken) :/

I'm gonna be honest, if you want to dance professionally, you have to be training 5-6 days a week at a good studio with good dance classes. But I know everyone's situation is different and this is not always possible. I can tell you're very dedicated since you take the time to train at home too! There is ALWAYS a chance that you can get in, and you should audition even if you think you don't have a chance. You will never know if you never try! Someone might see something in you, and you just might get a spot ❤️

No, I am not. I want to wait and see if I can secure a job in a professional company before I commit to attending college. I'm at a place in my dance career right now where I'm transitioning from student to professional, so where I will go in my career is very uncertain and I don't want to have to worry about school at this moment! ❤️
