Thank u. I relapse on September 8, 2024 and stop drinking today September 11, 2024. I had two years and 8 months clear time.

It's killing me.. I just relapsed after 9 years. Mine was like 12 hours . I'm so shameful.

I'm sorry to hear that. Remember, relapse doesn't erase your progress. It's a setback, but you're still strong and capable. Don't be too hard on yourself; focus on taking care of yourself and seeking support.

Research shows feelings of toxic guilt and shame can prevent a person from recovering from alcoholism, last year I tried to help my homeless coworker get sober it wasn’t successful, sometimes he got upset and cried because he couldn’t see his kid I think he was experiencing feelings of guilt and shame

Great video however I still don't see addiction as a 'disease..' I relapsed after 10 weeks , 12 hour session in the bar ...Felt suicidal next day , lost my lovely GF etc.

I'm so sorry you're feeling this way. You're not alone, and it's okay to seek help. Talking to a therapist or joining a support group can make a big difference. Be kind to yourself and keep reaching out. You're stronger than you think. 💪 If you need help, feel free to reach out to me.
