Crazy story of mine let me tell you my summary so I lost my brother he died so when I was in a relationship I was going through a grief all I did was argue with him and treat him horrible and yet he stay myside I asked him once why he stayed with me he told me because he loved me but because I loved him more I left him now people may not understand but I hurt him I need to be heal so I left him and I couldnt heal myself with the loss with him in my life till this day I love him he loves me we talk to eachother almost daily but were not together I have no idea if we will another time try again but he wants to and I do too but im still healing myself

In addition to not yelling, and not name calling I would add not being invalidating. You can not yell or name call, yet still be toxic by invalidating the other persons feelings, being defensive and or giving silent treatment. These are all extremely hostile, and toxic even thought there is no yelling and name calling.
