Hi J! I must admit that I’d never heard of alstroemerias until I started working in the floral dept of our local grocery store. Just as you said I tend to use them as filler but will start thinking more about them being the focal point. The colours you had were beautiful. As always your arrangement was gorgeous. Thanks so much Joyce.. I just refer to the color wheel ... and choose my colors based on positive patterns and the desired result.. studying color and the books from my life long friend Lee Eiseman - the COLOR Guru at Pantone... have been helpful with my color choices...

They are all amazing indeed! But they are also very expensive here, in Portugal. All flowers are expensive here. Some more than others. But they are all expensive. That is why I try to grow some in my garden. BUT the soil is not so good. I feel sad....
