Yeah the Napoleon video wasn’t much help either. My best advice is to have an extra set of hands to help set the upper part onto the base. I’m glad my video was helpful. And on a side note, the grill is still working perfectly to this day!

23:57. Tatoes wont fall off but lots of stuff now falls down the back side gap. Turn it around and the metal bar covers the gap up.

alan316 you can buy this at Home Depot! I’ve had the $200 grills before. Get a couple years out them. Keep in mind $950 CDN is less than $700 US right now. Napoleon is like the BMW of bbq’s.

Nice show and tell video. The kids are great too! The top was too heavy for me to slide into place without scratching the heck out of the unit so I removed the two security pins in the hood and that reduced the weight by half making it a much easier heft. $700@Lowes in XT stainless model.

The Rural Dad Fired up this grill this afternoon for the first time and grilled some country pork ribs which turned out really nice. The grill cooks very even and flare up’s from the fat were kept to a minimum due to the flavorizer bar overlay. The grill cooks as well as any Weber I’ve had and much better than my recent Kitchenaid. My only gripe is the gap on the rear of the unit. Seems like it would have been better to add one more piece and fully enclose it. I know I’m going to get critters in there going after that grease trap🤣 Thanks again for a great video.

KEN DUANE I absolutely agree about that gap, and don’t know why another filler plate couldn’t have been added. It has slots to hold one by the looks of the design. I’m glad you’re happy with it. I think it’s an excellent bbq for the price!

14:50. what does that ring thing do for the propane tank? Seems to be in the way? Is it for holding the tank in place when rolling the grill up a hill?? (ha). I can’t think of a time ive ever wished i had a ring holding my tank like that.

I like it. It holds it so solid it becomes part of the bbq! Some of these things I think are met to meet safety requirements.

19:58. The doors appear to magnetically connected to the drip pan drawer when closed. Does that cause the doors to pull on the drip pan when they open? Does that make a clanging sound every time you open and close the door due to the loose drip pan drawer?

It won’t pull the drip pan out, I wouldn’t say it’s a loud noise. My drip pan seems to be firmly in place.

Great video! Thank you! I just setup my Rogue 365 and the temperature gauge probe is loose but is it supposed to be. There was a washer, locking washer and nut that came loose in the box the bbq came in.

You should be able to snug up the nut to keep it from moving around as it should be mounted soiled. I hope you’re enjoying the Rogue!

@@TheRuralDad I definitely can't snug it up and it came broken. I have a new temperature gauge coming but due to a stock shortage that Napoleon rep said I might not see it until October. I haven't used the BBQ yet but I will soon. 👍👍

Haven’t had to do that yet. Honestly I think since I filmed this video I’ve used the rogue maybe only 5 times. It should last forever at this rate!!! I’m a charcoal guy!
