Hi, well explained tutorial. Can i please ask why on the lower main wheel there is no spacer between the bearings and not shouldered. This can obviously cause the bearings to crush together and be problematic, many thanks.

Does this mean by fitting the bottom blade guide thrust bearing screw to either the back or front gives me the option as to which way I want to tilt my table. So is this so, I can actually tilt the table to forward degrees and backward degrees, that's impressive.

The primary difference between the 18|BX and 18|CX Bandsaw is that the 18|CX Bandsaw has a variable speed range while the 18|BX is a single-speed bandsaw. The 18|CX Bandsaw uses a 2-step pulley to change between the high and low range. There is also a handwheel to vary the speed within these ranges to precisely set the blade speed. The low range can be adjusted from 100-290 FPM. The high range can be adjusted from 1200-3500 FPM The 18|BX is primarily used for wood or other similar products. The 18|CX has the ability to cut all of the same materials as the 18|BX but with the additional capability of cutting ferrous and non-ferrous metals like steel, stainless, etc. Slower blade speeds and different blades are required for cutting steel. The 18|CX has the speed range to cut a wider range of materials including steel. We offer both woodcutting blades and bi-metal blades for cutting ferrous metals.
