What do you do for the fingers and toes? Toothpick, wire, or elastic cord?
@Josef_Germany6 сағат бұрын
I'm surprised you assembled the arms and legs with wire instead of stretch cord. When i assembled my prints, i found that using the cord helps with articulation and stability (a rule of thumb I picked up from studying JurassicJustin's Scorpios Rex: double/triple knotting after the glue is applied offers another line of defense against the unraveling of the cord.) Once assembled, twisting the connected parts (especially the legs) causes the cord to coil and strengthen on the inside, allowing the figures to stand freely. Hope this helps! Note: this process works with both large and small BJD figures of this design (Tested on the raptors, Dilopho, Gallimimus, Kelenken, Plesio, and Juvie/ Adult Spino & Rex.). Larger scale figs might require a different grade of stretch cord. The more you rotate the limbs, the sturdier they'll be!

Ty man, I just got a 3d printer and I've been wanting to print some artic figures. Also if you can, could you do a tutorial on the V Rex?

Do you think I could print this with a filament printer?
@NunnyasBusiness6 сағат бұрын
@@danielsaieos yes but you sacrificed some details, the Spinosaurs in this video was printed on a filament printer and the teeth look back but if you go to my Instagram @Nunnyas, I painted it and it looks alright

@ yea but at the same time you could probably make little teeth from clay
