You should never use silicone sealant on an o-ring seal. Also use a wire brush and putty knife or gasket scraper to clean all surfaces, not a knife that is missing pieces, it only creates gouges that don't seal very well.

Good video, on many toyotas its a pain to change the pump. I had to drop on side of the engine to get to the pulley and mounting bolts. Silicone is good to use if you have some but I avoid it, it makes a mess if you try to remove it later

AwesomenessIskey Yes, this silicone is excellent. Brand is Sika.

Is there a different between brands? I used kleenflo, permetex, etc and they seem to work the same with the same colour and heatrange
