Hi, thank you for this great information. I have a project where I am using hydraulic clamp to design a fixture. the hydraulic clamp has max 3000psi pressure capacity and use G1/8 thread for the fitting, what type of fitting/couplers/hoses can I use to connect these clamps?

Hi thanks for watching our Video. It is best to use commonly available hydraulic materials to keep costs reasonable so I would suggest the following parts, if your hydraulic clamp has a female G1/8 thread then use a 1/8 to 1/4 male to male nipple and then use 1/4" poppet style couplers with female G 1/4" thread ( flat face couplers in 1/4" size also available but quite rare and expensive) use 1/4" 100R2 2wire hydraulic hose as its good for 5600 psi and 1/4 " reusable or crimp on hose ends with male threads to directly screw onto the couplers. Depending on the room you have available you may have to use 90 degree male male fittings on the clam , or connect hoses to the clamp first and move the couplers away from the clamp to a more accessible area.
