Thank you, this is a lot more informative than my experience in general class. The hose that was used to install hardware did not look very clean cut and had fibers flaring out the sides, does it only need to be trimmed at the very tip with tape on?

The tape helps with a clean cut...as well with a sharp blade.

do you always lubricate with hydraulic fluid or do you use whatever fluid the line will be carrying once installed
