DAMN.....Great Post!!! Questions though....1) If you are drilling the tracks out, does it wear out the drill/break the drill....do I need to possibly need more drill bits? 1a) What size drill bit did you use on the 'MasterClub' tracks...wasn't in the vid. 2) On the 'MasterClub' tracks, which side does the resin head go on....if for example, it is for the right side tracks? 3) JUST a Bit hesitant on getting 'Slow CA Glue' on pins/wire and having it glue the moving part....has That been an issue for you??? 4) For a person that has Never made metal tracks, how long does it take to complete Both sets left & right? Thanks for getting back to me. I purchased a Meng 1/35 Merkava Mk IV w/Trophy 'set'........MIGHT be making metal tracks, I like the 'MasterClub' set.

Hi buddy, 1 Drill is made of steel, tracks of a tin alloy it can never wear out, you can only break it if not careful. 2 Don't remember the bit size I still have them though would have to check please remind me later, I think it was 0.5 or 0.6 but not sure! 3 Resin pins go on both sides of tracks, with Friuls you have the one nice side with metal pins cast on and the ugly side with wire that goes on the inner side towards a tanks tub. 4 Glue is not an issue makes sure you don't lose the pins or wire struts later on. 5 Completion takes 1 day, rushed 3-6 hours. Friuls are the better choice IMHO - have less flash i.e. require less cleaning and they work much better, Masterclub require more drilling, clean up, can break more easily when you insert pins and are very stiff once assembled. Great video. One tip - set the drill bit depth in the pin vise so that you can use the pin vise as a drill stop, Adjust the protruding bit so that when the pin vise bottoms out on the track, the depth is just shy of breaking through. Saves scrapping links, and keeps from stabbing your fingers.

Ok so i got my first set and really happy about it. Panther tracks atl-21. After inspecting, cleaning all accompanied by a glass of wine, it was time to divide them. The kit says 210 links. After counting i found out that i had one link less. 109 treads in all +100 intermediate links. I did not lose any links. Will i have to use all the links? Was this a spare? Please any advise. Thank you.

There will always be some links left, just test fit a track as you progress with assembly till it's long enough. :)

I really like putting these tank tracks together but they're so expensive, sometimes costing more than the tank kit itself.
