Can we just use the stock kit rims and modify them to fit?

Best of luck with your build! You should be able to use the included wheels. I've done that with some car builds, just requires custom work to get them to fit.

The chassis kit looks really good, and pretty straight forward. However the bearing supported steering is something no one has, Redcat has some bushings on the 53 Hauler, but I've not seen bearings on even big name crawlers.

Euro trucks are about the same width as American trucks. In theory you should be able to make it work.

You can put an electric motor in front, like in a real thing.
