Custom RC Hot Rod with Leaf Spring Rear End 🔧 The Drivetrain is Complete!

The model to RC conversion continues on this 1/24 scale 39 Chevy coupe. With the tiny N20 motor in place, I continued this project by installing the drivetrain and rear suspension. Utilizing some tiny 3D printed leaf springs, I was able to create something that not only works well, but looks great too. I'm very happy with the car so far and I'm looking forward to tackling the front suspension in the next video. Stay tuned!

The beauty of leaf springs is that u can add more to them. Even from a piece of tin or aluminum that you fab for this car. Even just added over the mount and painted. Looks better than adding coils to it. #giveaway

you can consider getting some leaf spring from the 1/35 orlandoo M01/2 military trucks rc kits, they dont really have that much spring power and thr dempener rods do all the job. they sell all the needed parts so you don't have to cannablise a kit.

Love the videos you create! I have been wanting to build a running 1/25 scale model. This video has added a challenge for me. How to hide an electric motor inside the model engine. The only problem I see is that my model has a transverse mounted engine. great work! keep it up!
