Urgent help, I got a secondhand malm bed and they gave me an incomplete package. What's the name of the side support frame (Step 8). Its the missing part. I need the name or code to order from ikea. Thanks

@DigitalCreativeMedia Bummer. Right at the end of the video, you'll see the instruction book. The parts don't have names or numbers. Ikea should know the part you need if you describe it and give them the step number. Good luck.

KAREN PLEASE HELP ME , I picked up two parts , I don't have the middle long plank or the wooden planks which hold the matress . Where they supposed to be included in one of the two packs I picked up or have I forgotten a 3rd pack ??

Yes you're missing parts. See at the very beginning of the video, where everything is laid out on the floor. That's all the parts. I ordered online and had it delivered and that's how mine arrived. The long, central metal support and the timber slats were not in a box.

@AthomewithKaren thank you so much for your reply , silly me I didn't realise the metal bar and the bed wodden planks were not included , I had to purchase them separately l😆 oops.

@@Adam_Blue15 you'd be right to expect all of the parts to be in the boxes. But the Malm has two options for the base so it needs to be selected separately. I purchased online and I found it confusing when ordering so I reckon this happens a lot. 👍

how do you extend those on step 10

@@ssophiaa2562 there are two parts to it and it just slides in and out of itself, like a telescope or a tripod leg.
