It was a beautiful walk! I do all my filming on my phone and I always carry a small tripod with flexible legs. A Joby Gorillapod. This means I can position the camera in a whole range of places. I also like to play with interesting angles and perspectives. In this case, the phone was about 20cm off the ground. I like the angle and it was quick to grab when the bus arrived!

You could, as long as the weight at the bottom is enough to hold the whole thing upright in the wind. Use a bigger pot, with more stones etc. I'll be doing that in my back garden soon. 👍

Yes, the problem is when they drift to the side of the container they can quickly empty the water. I had no trouble changing the heads, but do wish the force could be adjusted.

I agree that these floating solar fountains are lots of fun. I have now built seven, given most to friends, and the action is just crazy when you get good sun. Usually means refilling the bowl once a day - depends on the spray head you use. I also found a new product that has some LED lights for a little splash of color at night. Obviously a small battery in the unit holds the energy for later. Fun! Thanks for sharing.
