This... was far larger than what I was expecting. And this is just the beginning? I think I'll just stick with Mystical Agriculture. Or take this slow. Oof. But thanks for the explanation. It's rather convoluted and takes a while just to start. Still, interesting mod.

It’s a little overwhelming to start with but the benefits are amazing. Mystical agriculture is only really good for gaining resources where astral sorcery can make you stronger, fly, teleport and so much more!

Hey! Small adjustment to what you said at around 21:00 Whenever liquid starlight and lava flow into each other they have about a 1 in 1000 chance to make aquamarine shale, neither source needs to get converted. Since both sand and shale are gravity blocks, some half slabs and water streams can get you a huge amount of sand and more aquamarine than you'll ever need. I've got a 16 lava & starlight farm in my playthrough that produces a chest of shale about every day (real life, not minecraft). There are some finicky bits with the sand placement, but using the edge of the lava solves all of them.

astral relays have diminishing returns when built close together, just something to think about before one tries flooding an area with them, 4-6 spaced out as far as possible should be all you'd need

This guide already helped me a lot but I'm having issues with a sand generator. Whenever the liquid starlight makes contact with lava, it turns into cobblestone instead of sand. Did it get changed or am I doing something wrong?

There had been no update. I have just fully updated the mod and tested it on a world. What is it is lava turning starlight into sand but you can do it either way. It could be that the modpack you are playing has been manually changed to make it so cobble is produced instead of sand. I am also assuming you are playing on 1.16. It may be that if you are playing an older pack that it used to turn to cobblestone and now it turns to sand. Don't quote me on that however! xD Hope this helps

Tip:right clicking a multi block structure with the resonating wand shows you where you need to build

I didn't know that. I knew you could do that in creative and it would insta build the structure out of blocks in your inventory but not that in survival

Another tip is that if you are playing a pack with mystical agriculture and are far in you can grow rock crystals,aquamarine and star metal so you don’t have to find so many rock crystals and make a lot of star metal

Isn't the sun just a big, "close" star? Seems like basic star crafting power should be 100% during the day! Seriously though this is helping me advance my SkyFactory 4 attempt at this mod. There's some differences but that's ok.

I've started using this mod, and the crystal isn't changing my crafting table. I've had in there for 3 in-game days, and it doesn't change. Is there something I'm missing?

Does the collector crystal inside the temple have a direct view of the sky?

I one time found an underground ore spawner wich has a stone block in the Middle and when it breaks it spawns any Ore or Stone.

One issue I'm coming across on atm6 is make starmetal and infusing wood. Nothing I do is working

A couple things it could be is that you haven't unlocked the right stage for making these items. I believe the wood is at the very beginning after you have made the first astral crafting table. You just need to throw logs into liquid starlight and it should change. For the starmetal ore you need to shine starlight directly at a piece of iron ore. To shin the light you need to link either a collector crystal of some type or some other starlight creation object with the linking tool. The collector crystal also needs to have direct view of the sky

@@Mondays3 I will try these as soon as I'm back on. I did it different then you in video with logs. I'll make a square for liquid starlight instead. I'm on the second crafting table form so all of them are discovered. The ore is kind of a sad thing but I'll set a waystone and do a small build temporary until I further advance. I will definitely be using this series the entire way though because you are a king at tutorials as I have learned. You actually take the time to do what nobody else seems to do. A direct tutorial not a playthrough which is nice for peor like me.

You modpack may have disabled them so you might have to start astral sorcery another way. If that isn't the case then make sure you are looking in the mountain biome or desert biomes. In the desert the shrine will be buried slightly but in the mountains it should be pretty easy to spot

You should check ur settings just stated playing yesterday and there was a small shrine within 200 blocks from my spawn point also you can find big shrines in snow mountains

Turns out stone and iron breaks the crystal so make sure to use diamond, just wasted two using stone and iron picks
