Ma pls why are putting oil before sewing

Because the feathers are glued into the trim and sewing through glue will make the needle sticky and can cause stitch issues. I was looking for a clue to prevent the stickiness so I'll definitely try this oil hack.

Because the feathers has glue and it make it difficult to sew …. Oil makes it easy
