TIPP!!! In the new version of hitfilm you have to set the viewer quality to "final", otherwise it won't display the changes to the points in the viewer and only in the rendering.

Question: Lets say you're walking down a hallway and you want the text on a wall. You follow all the steps you have here, but eventually your shot gets the points out of frame. You want a relatively seamless transition for the text to dissapear as the wall does in your perspective. Do you need to hand animate the rest of that, or do you have to scale up your footage to give you more real estate, or do you have to make your points on another object in frame and just kinda fiddle with it till it matches?

Just what I needed. But I have a wall and text viewed from a moving boat which floats off the text at the end of the clip. Maybe I have to make another composite with out tracking and fix it to the wall and fit the clip in the timeline.

Currently, Hitfilm Express 13 does not have tracking. It has the Track panel, but the track option is not in clip options anymore. Not on the timeline or the composite shot. Not sure what is wrong.
