If the object is still, you can pretty much archieve the same result with a simple witness protection effect, that doesn't require all of this work.

I've watched this video a hundred times, and I keep fucking this up. I do position, and it changes the position. I go back a frame to make sure the mask has moved, great it did. So, I go to the next frame, and change the position again, but this time I go back and the whole mask is just where I placed it and stationary. I'm losing my mind here, smashing my fists into the table. I've been trying to do this stupid 30 second project for my son for the last two years and this software is infuriating.

For future reference, please kill the music.

new beginner on hit film which I just down loaded. I am trying to make a film for my daughter about my grand daughter have a bunch of photos (stills). I would like to show the baby growing and morph one image into the next as a continuous animation. I'm trying to use a Composite Shot in order to save a template for making TikToks, where I've edited the aspect ratio of a Twitch Clip and then duplicated it onto a second track to create the blurred background effect. Now I'm hoping to be able to save this as some sort of template so that I can simply replace the footage in the template and all of the transformations and effects get automatically applied to the replacement footage. If I try to manually drag the replacement footage into the Composite Shot it doesn't save any of the effects or transformations and same goes for the editor timeline. I've also tried looking for a replace/relink/etc option when right-clicking and can't seem to find one

What I need to know is: after going through an audio track and removing sections of silence, is there a way of automatically clumping together each audio clip so that the gaps disappear? I am fed up with dragging each clip together 100 times in an audio edit. Let's say it's a voiceover that does not have to lip-sink. Is there any way of doing this that someone can explain? While on this, Sam would go for video; you cut out 20 areas of dead clips, and Im not talking about ripple editing. Any help is most welcome.

Yeah this did not work for me at all. And seeing how this is such an old video I doubt I'll receive any answers as to why it is not working right. When I try to parent the same way it still all moves around. I can't put any background video on this either because it will either get covered by the other layers or get warped by the polar warp. Not to mention I don't have that eclipse mask or whatever as a selection, although with this I imagine it is because I'm trying this years later but still I had to figure out a work around to making my image circle... just too many problems so dang near a waste of time trying to learn this

Sometimes the media does not show up in the Fusion after creating a Fusion clip. Do you know this issue or how to fix this?
