2 to 4 weeks is not that long a period of time. You can reach out if you wish, but I think the most important thing is to take a different approach so she doesn't feel pressure. Ideally, she would reach out to you, but it won't always work like that. In essence, the key thing is to make her feel like you've moved on and no longer need her. Either side can reach out, but the key is to not care. A girl ironically won't get interested again until you're not interested in her anymore, but you seem interesting to her because you some how seem new and interesting to her again. That usually takes more than 2 to 4 weeks and some active social media posting, but yeah, you can try again later. Truth be told, it is usually better just to move on to a healthier option and try not to make the same mistake. Then the old option sometimes returns, but some how seems less important. Some how they know not to come back until you've really moved on.

I does help. I have had a reoccurring issue in my life. I'm trying to get to the root of it. I am 27, a pretty good looking guy, a good career, I am extremely confident and out going. I have absolutely NO PROBLEM picking up women and sleeping with them. These girls usually get upset with me for being so unemotionally unavailable and "not caring"... they fall for me and I brush it off. BUT this is NOT what I want. My issue is that once I am with a girl for awhile... lets say around 6-8 months, if I actually allow a relationship to happen, every time I let me self fall for them and become vulnerable I ruin it. I start getting needy, I start feeling insecure once the sex starts slowing down abit or I am not receiving the same reassurance I did in the beginning . Getting a girlfriend isnt the issue for me, its keeping them.. I don't understand why I get this way once I claim someone and its ruined my last 3 relationships, The last one I was in I was def in love with this girl, she I would say was the best girlfriend Ive ever snagged.. a solid 10, great sex, talked all the time, had so much fun, she was the "girl next door" type but such a little freak, I loved it, I felt I hit the jack pot, but once that honeymoon faze goes away and if I have stuck around it ALWAYS happens... Its almost like all I enjoy is the excitement in the beginning of a relationship and I do not know how to act after that! I'm confused because deep down I want more... Since she has left me I have tried to get her back, but I have went out and done my own thing. I slept with 2 ex gfs and 2 other girls I met at a bar and on bumble. What I want though is honestly my ex because of the connection we had. I think cutting her off completely, because she still texts me everyday but is hesitant of hanging out or re starting things. I just gotta cut her off I think... and move on. If she comes back then great but if not I think its the only way to get over this lose. I was hoping she would be the one I settled down with.

So we had a good time. I liked her A LOT. She was some years younger than the women I usually date, but much more intelligent and god, so cute. I held my cool for a while, because I wanted to make sure it was right (based on previous relationships), and I didn't want it to go too fast forward. I actually told her in the beginning, that I felt like this was moving a little too fast forward, because it didn't take too long before she was holding hands, kissing and stuff. After the holidays, I realized how much I missed her, and I probably came off too strong when I saw her again. After a few weeks, when her studies returned, she told me she didn't know how this could work out, as she did not see how she had the time for this to develop, because of studies, and because she use a lot of time with her family, and other school related things + work. She took distance from me, and nothing was the same when we were together. When I talked to her about her being distant, she cried and told me that she liked me, but did not see how this could develop due to so little time, bla bla. On one occasion, she told me I probably liked her more, than the other way around. I realized I had showed her way too much attention. I wrote to her, saying that I understood that she needed the time in her life on studies, family etc, and that I understood that this probably was hard on her, and also that I needed some time away from her, because I had developed feelings for her. She replied "thanks for understanding, I think it's for the best right now". After this, I felt like my life was missing something without her. And the break-up all felt so wrong, because it actually went so good, until I showed more feelings towards her. I really want her back, but I don't know if it's too late. I can't seem to stop thinking about her, and I really don't know what to do.

I can say 100% that this works.. so far. Met a girl that was above the rest, we went on a few dates and I became way too needy.
