I'm exhausted about all these "rules" or "tips" about dating. Everything is counterintuitive and nobody wins. I was ghosted by a guy but what I realized I was coming from a place of lack. I had to do some internal work. Just recently, a woman was starting to pull this crap with me, when I quickly realized I was the only one initiating communication and her texts were few and far between. So I pulled back and stopped. Tripp is right. I’ve been using this advice and technique since my 20s. I am now 33, yes I am still single but I choose to be because I have not met anyone who I wanted to settle down with in quite a while. And that is OK with me. Do not fall for peoples so-called unwarranted opinions of what you should be doing with your life, partners, etc.

We don’t tolerate nor accept ghosting. Go out and find another girl. Unless she had a valid excuse, she shouldn’t fear confrontation. She also has to do 100% of the calling texting and pursuing by that time if she decides to come back to you. For the first date she should go to your house or somewhere convenient to you (if she had a valid reason. if she cares, she will offer to make up for the lost time) If not move on.

It sucks that a lot of guys don’t know this yet but if a girl is willing to meet up with you right away after asking her out that’s a sign that’s she’s interested but if she keeps dodging you or always has something coming up when you ask her out she’s clearly not interested. You should obviously find someone that’s willing to give you her time of the day and wants to me meet up. It took me a while to finally understand that all thanks to you and all these dating coaches.

My girlfriend at the time ghosted me for a week, but I only thought that she was busy. It wasn’t until a few days later that I started feeling worried. So me, being my dumb self, decided to search for her because I was worried and a little angry that she was ignoring me. I went to her house, no response. I spoke with her mom at her job but she apparently never even told her mom about our relationship which is very weird. Lastly, I spoke with her friend about her cheating on me bc that’s what her mom told me (my girlfriend wasn’t). I was absolutely freaking out and I couldn’t think straight. Her friend made her respond to me finally and my girlfriend was pissed. She originally wanted to hang out with me but when she realized I was pulling these crazy stunts and talking to her mom who I thought knew about us, she changed her mind and ended the relationship. Some of this is her fault tho bc if she was busy, she would’ve told me that she was with one simple text. I don’t know why she waited for her friend’s call to tell me to hang out bc she was clearly not doing anything. If anyone gets ghosted, never chase someone. Simply leave her and move on. I learned my lesson.
