I bought The Flow over 10 years ago while I was back in Uni and really struggling with the confidence to approach women. I remember feeling as if though somehow I might be inconveniencing them if I were to approach! Anyway I read about a third of the book, went out and had one of the best nights of my life. I approached girls easily, and got with three girls in the same night, also getting a phone number from the hottest one. It completely changed the game for me. This was a far cry from my previous experience I can assure you! The dawning realisations for me were that girls want you to approach, they want to find someone as much as you do, and know that it is your job as a man to approach and most will give you a window to see you are compatable. Dan I still watch your videos on a regular basis - thank you, your work has helped me massively.

So good to hear! 😄 Thanks for sharing that Matthew. Some guys will think you're exaggerating there, but I know it's true. When I used to take guys out to approach and meet women and teach them The Flow secrets, they'd get those kind of results results. I remember one guy being so overwhelmed with the results he was getting that he had to sit down. He was shaking his head saying, "I can't believe this...I can't f**king believe it" with a huge smile on his face for 5 or so minutes and he then got right back into it. Once you know how to do it, the world of women opens up to you. It still amazes me to this day that 99% of guys don't know about this. Thanks again for sharing your success story Matthew - I really appreciate it and also appreciate hearing from you. It's so good to hear from guys who've actually put The Flow techniques into practice properly. Enjoy the great times ahead for you man! Cheers, Dan 👍

It's great to see the direction in which Dan's videos lead: on the path to hope and self-improvement. Not red-pill, misogyny, hate towards women, nor contempt, or even expecting women to change (even if it is "irrational" behavior) Just focusing on ourselves. Cheers, man, hope more content makers are like this.

Great to hear man. If I can save some guys from ending up going from red pill to purple and black, then I'm doing a good thing. Some things about the red pill scene are good, but most of them are way too negative and just sit around complaining about women. Real men find a solution, use it and get on with enjoying life.

Bro really is a gem. Been going no contact with this girl half my age cuz I’m a born again virgin and made oodles of errors, but she’s young and playing games and the dating scene has completely changed since I last ventured forth in 2015. So I’m on a steep learning curve. Been binging no contact videos and downloading a new mindset with girls and it leaves me kinda mad and unsettled. But you’re refreshing to hear regardless. I have the means within me and if and when that lil philly wants to step back on, she needs to come correct or it’s DOA. It’s whatevs, but I likes you brobeans. Thanks. Lots of pretty people to meet and work on my social skills with. Merry Christmas

Glad you posted for this topic, I obviously haven’t watched this video yet because it just came out, but the problem I’ve had in the past with being myself, is beforehand I had not a lot of success with women, but after watching the modern man I did have success, but before was I not being myself? It is kind of hard to explain, but at times with the modern man techniques I felt a bit of imposter syndrome, but I guess confidence is being your true self, while simultaneously becoming better, but I can say that when I’m not watching your content for extended periods of time I revert back to less confident ways. I think In the being yourself aspect, it is a bit about enhancing your personality and being less filtered, I guess just being your true, genuine, self. I’ll watch this video tomorrow when I have time off to bed now, cheers.

Yes, it (i.e. being a confident guy who is attractive to women) does take a bit of getting used to because you've spent most (or all) of your life not feeling that you aren't good enough. However, when you interact with attractive women and they feel attracted to you and you then have sex and/or a relationship with them, you begin to grow into your new level of personality and being. You feel aligned with the fact that you are now attractive to women and let go of the old version you who didn't know how to attract women, or didn't feel worthy of women that you found attractive. BTW: The part in your comment about being less filtered is a good point to make. The more confident you become in your attractiveness to women (i.e. because you can display the traits mentioned in the video), the less you feel the need to filter and you eventually get to the point where you are 100% being yourself around women; except it's now an attractive version of yourself. It's a beautiful stage to get to because you realize that women feel attracted to you, respect you and want to be with you based on you being yourself. You no longer feel the need to seek approval, or try hard because you know that you are attractive to women and they will feel it when they interact with you. Cheers, Dan

Imposter syndrome is something I still feel a little of from time to time. I found it was much easier to shake it when I flew solo, away from my friends. The downside of that is that you’re on your own and don’t have a wingman. It’s starting to become second nature now and I am finding it much easier to just banter with random women at the check out and make them laugh. Practice it and then translate that comfortable feeling to talking to more attractive women and the results will come.

I’m 35 and have had social anxiety my whole life. And it only intensifies around women I like. I will even avoid women I like or cut the conversation short with attractive women just to end the interaction because I feel so uncomfortable. I’ve never had a girlfriend. I missed out on critical experiences in my youth with dating because of this and it had affected my whole life.

Hi Dan, thanks for the video. I have The Flow and some other of your courses. Very mind opening, thank you. The playfully challenging humor is something I still struggle with. I understand the principle behind it, and I feel it's FUN ! So I wanna do it to. But when I am talking to a woman, I find it difficult to have any ideas to tease her... When I know someone very well it's easy to mess around. But there, I feel mostly out of ideas. And then, when I hear some exemples, it feels obvious. But not in the moment. Have you some advices to trigger ideas when talking to women, to have more intuition about it please ?
@DanBacon_
@DanBacon_ 11 ай бұрын
Hi Emmanuel - great to hear The Flow and my other programs were mind-opening for you. To fix the problem you've been experiencing, you need to use the confidence technique that I explain at the start of the section on Confidence in The Flow. If you use that, then you will feel free to playfully mess with the woman and be yourself, which will attract her and which will also make you feel free and alive. If you don't use that, then you will naturally worry and try to impress her, which will turn her off and make you feel like crap. The technique in that section is a must-use technique for natural attraction and natural confidence. In terms of coming up with examples: Use the examples from The Flow to get used to it and you will begin to come up with your own examples in the moment. However, if you want many more examples, I recommend that you listen to this: store.themodernman.com/the_ultimate_guide_to_conversation.html Cheers, Dan 👍

This video really speaks to me. I'm a very technical guy in profession and in mindset, and just like you describe, I can talk to women and they appreciate my kindness and intelligence, but simply put, I'm never the one they wanna have sex with. And I hear it all the time like you said, just be yourself.. just put yourself out there... you're a great guy... blah blah blah. It's not wrong advice but it's missing so much information. What you say makes a lot of sense. I see a friend of mine at work who flirts and gets female attention so easily, and I guess it really is because he's willing to say something edgy, willing to make fun of them a little, willing to not take them seriously... unlike me. I will take a chance and buy The Flow and try to take it in. I just hope I have it in me to truly make those changes. At 38, I feel like I've missed out on so much already, and may not have a lot of time left to try and get out there...

Cheers man. Yeah, I had many good times out there. I remember on many occasions, I'd be having sex with a hottie, she'd be on top and I'd think to myself, "I love my life..." Such a fun experience to have as a man. BTW: None of those women approached me, or 'gave me eyes' to come and approach them. The only reason I had so many attractive women is that I was willing to walk up and start a conversation and then attract them. Most guys just look at women like that, but never talk to them. When you know how to do it, you are one of the rare guys who enjoys his choice with women.

The difference I changed recently is paying more attention to which women are into me and make them do all the work. I never knew they will do all the work if you pay attention and don’t act needy. Basically act like you have a girlfriend so you don’t care what they think. Shocking how many women you will attract.

Hey Dan, I love this video as well as the e-book The Flow! I wanted to ask you something. What's the best way to start an interaction with women in a loud bar or club? I feel like I struggle with confidence in a loud bar or club because I've realized it's difficult to have a conversation with them when the music is so loud. Should I just man up and speak loudly when approaching them there? Maybe it's a matter of speaking up and using attractive conversation starters while being confident and displaying other attractive personality traits you mentioned (emotional masculinity, charm, funny, etc.). I was thinking maybe I should interact with them further away from the loud music.

Hey Dan was confused about something. You said talking logically and straight forward is a masculine trait, yet if women are attracted to masculine traits why in this case women don’t like the masculine energy of being serious and logical ? Sounds to me that communicating indirectly (the way women do) it’s a feminine trait so why in this case is advised to use this approach to create sexual attraction ? Isn’t this a contradiction?
@DanBacon_
@DanBacon_ 11 ай бұрын
Talking logically is fine. However, as I always say and as I said in this video, the problem is when a guy wants to talk logically all the time. When talking to a woman, you don't need to talk like a woman. Instead, you need to add in flirting or humor and do it in a masculine way, as shown in the video. It's just something that needs to be added in to create a sexual spark. If you talk to a woman and there is magically a sexual spark without you doing anything (i.e. you are getting lucky), then you usually won't need to do anything to 'create' a spark. However, if you are talking to a woman that you find attractive and want to create a spark rather than hoping to get lucky, then you need to do something to create the spark. Using flirting or humor in a masculine way is one of the easiest ways to do that. Cheers, Dan
@lint8391
@lint8391 10 ай бұрын
Women are attracted to the POSITIVE masculine traits in men. In the same way that men are attracted to the POSITIVE feminine traits in women. Talking in a logical straight forward manner is a positive trait in a business setting. In a social setting it's a neutral trait (maybe even a negative trait in some circumstances). Flirting with women in the way that Dan describes is more direct than having a "job interview" type conversation with them, whilst also displaying a better level of social calibration that coming out with an ultra direct "I want to bury my penis in you."

Fantastic video Lord Dan of Ireland. As usual I have some questions that I really hope your answer this time...😏 1) I'm really confused man, I meet up with women and make them feel attracted and even collect their numbers but yet, when it comes to meeting up, the women seem to develop some cold feet. Why is that? 2) What sort of rejection trick do women play, and when is a rejection actually a rejection? 3) What do you do if a woman who is attracted to you but hasn't had sex with you yet asks for a favour? How often do you communicate a woman before the first date and is it important to call her that day of the date to remind her?
@DanBacon_
@DanBacon_ 11 ай бұрын
1) You either aren't attracting them enough prior to getting the number, turning them off via text or asking for the 'date' in the wrong way. Here's a video on the topic: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eKndiXSYl7OrqMk 2) Confusing question. 3) Depends on what the favor is and if you feel like doing it. If you're a good guy and are happy to help out and are not doing it to hopefully get sex, then you wouldn't be worried. If you are an insecure guy and are worried that she'll think you're only helping to get sex, then you might overthink it. 4) That is explained (and examples provided) in my program Text Attraction: store.themodernman.com/text_attraction.html

Hej Dan, I assume you have reached you goals (at least the important ones) in life therefore now you're focusing on helping men more than before. You're giving out a +30 minutes video for free, that's crazy. We do not deserve you.. Merry Christmas to you and your family, I hope your daughters would be aware of these ways of attraction therefore they will be able to resist and choose the proper guys😜! You deserve a Nobel Prize!

Hey Benjamin - glad you enjoyed the vid and Merry Christmas to you too. Regarding my daughters: They will feel attracted to the traits that naturally attract women; it's automatic and nothing can stop that. I do hope they find a great guy though, who will truly love and respect them the way I do their mother. Cheers, Dan 👍

Be yourself, but there are different versions of yourself. Picture yourself in a meeting at work with your colleagues and your boss. Now picture yourself at a bar with all your closest friends. Those seem like two entirely different people, right? But that’s you. That’s you being yourself in both situations. When you’re talking to a woman, the version of yourself that you need to imitate is the version of you that’s on vacation. The easy-going guy who wants to make everyone smile and wants everyone to feel comfortable and have a good time, that’s the most attractive version of you.

Have a great Christmas and new year Dan and family 🎄🎁 🎁 Started talking a really cool girl even cooler than the one from the train but she starting to go quiet I know im getting dragged into long texting which is risky, we usually talk about rock music, horror movies and games been to her place once, met her 3 times now usually she always is hanging with her best friend, is there a good way to smoothly get calling her more or even voice messages

This video is really perfect. Apparently I act more like a 300 year old vampire that never really assimilated into modern society. I’ll try to keep the gestures that distinguish her as a woman but not do them in so formal a way… I’m handsome and fun but my manners are borderline “m’lady” (tips imaginary top hat, kills self)

Dan, sometimes I meet women who are chasing me hard but I not neccessary need them. So if I will make the first move are there chances to get somewhere with a girl I like and not giving me clear signals or women are the ones who always pick their guys?

The reason guys tell themselves this lie that being confident, charming, good with women etc is not who they are authentically is simply because they are frightened of what becoming that person would entail. It would entail facing your fears, going out and talking to women, risking rejection, making the wrong move... and for some guys the fear of that is just so much that they need a lie to tell themselves so they can excuse themselves from every having to pursue that in a way that feels morally right. As Dan deconstructs, this idea is complete bullshit. If growth meant you were unauthentically changing yourself you'd still be a f*cking sperm.
