How to Auto Buffer on Ambessa

This mechanic is being removed. EDIT: IT MIGHT NOT BE GONE Depending on how they remove this mechanic, the combo I showed in the video will most likely still be possible. Every champion can auto buffer. You can always trigger an auto attack before using an ability, and the auto will trigger immediately after the ability comes out. I highly doubt they will prevent Ambessa from doing this when every other champion can do it. What they will most likely remove is the ability to both land the buffered auto AND dash away. Currently, Ambessa's dash will never cancel her Passive autos. I'm pretty sure they will just remove this. So we can still buffer an auto, but you have to choose between allowing the buffered auto to go off, or dashing away. The combo I showcased doesnt use the Q dash, which is where the buffered auto comes out. So if i'm right, this particular combo will still work, and Ambessa would still have good short trades. She just has to use another ability (like W) to dash away after the buffered auto lands. EDIT 2: I WAS RIGHT Riot Yelough just comfirmed this is what they are doing.

this is insane! depending on how much light this sees i think it could be removed, or balanced around it (wich i think is the way to go)

We can also use Q during E, imagine what would happen if we combine these mechanics together. In just a second, you can make E1+AA+DASH+Q1(with E2)+AA+DASH+Q2+AA combo. Of course, with my 200 ping on PBE, I was never able to make this combo, but I think it's possible.

Hey, love the video! I’m already exited to play her on live. One thing though: I would have liked for you to „properly“ show auto-buffering. I looked through the Reddit thread to get my answer, because you said „just AA before the ability“ but didn’t really talk about the timing of the dash. But overall great video!

Sorry about that. I tried to show how it works starting at 0:43. I didn't show the exact timing because it isn't precise right now. The high ping on PBE made it difficult to do consistently, and in slowmo, the timing seemed completely random. Basically, trigger an auto attack while you are out of range, use an ability when you get close enough for the extended range auto to connect, then dash away as late as possible.

This champ is totally broken atm. Just look at how much damage she does to garen in the video.. And that with all the mobility. Another OP champ that is an autoban until the champ is nerfed.

You can buffer another auto 1:18 after E

its not possible there because abilities dont refresh ambessa's auto attack cooldown. using the auto after Q means its not back up when you use E immediately after.
