One more thing to add in all driving schools , on how to use DIM and Bright lights. This point is nowhere teaching i guess. Those who freequently rides only know the seriousness about it.

i follow one rule- i never stay behind or close to any other vehicle when on road and mainly never behind a truck or bus due to their huge blind spot area. keep safe distance and you surely would have reaction time. the the city limits i never ever ride the bike above 50kmph. and out on the highway i would ride it @100-120 only if i know and im sure that i am a straight road with no road openings or any crossings.

For braking... Dont just look at the person before ..also have a look at what's before the car/auto if u could . so that if he is about to stop all of a sudden becuz of a cow running or bus that slows down becuz of something that's before it which obviously we can't see ..we will already be ready to brake even before he is gonna do it... This will surely help ... Also there are idiots who stop suddenly at highway seeing a restaurant ..beware of those idiots too.

"one finger is enough" not really for a drum bike.

@@YogiGunner I am raiding Yezdi 250cc 1975 model and with the same one finger technique, it slowdowns the mighty bike. bike is having drum brake with two split pads.

You are wrong ..people have both the mirrors but they never open it 🤣🤣🤣 mostly on faired motorcycle types. When you ask them they would say “ it’s difficult during a lane split” .okay the reason is acceptable because on a slow moving or still traffic at redsignals, lane splitting is recommended. But they ride throughout....home-office-home with mirrors closed and they say they are protecting it from damages by other vehicles. They never look to the sides before changing the lanes instead they turn their heads to see what’s coming. Please open the mirrors while riding no matter how wide the mirrors are,Even if it gets damaged ..it’s just the mirrors. But something happens serious because you weren’t able to see what’s coming behind you...then the damages would be catastrophic 🤘🏼 ride safely
@bharanidaranv44465 жыл бұрын
😂😂😂
@mohamedismail51303 жыл бұрын
Its even more catastrophic to the vehicle coming from back due to the stupidity of not looking mirrors

Every word he spoke was a "pro" lesson. However simple it may have sounded.. I have been riding for over 20 years, yet today, I learnt why it is safer to ride on the middle of a wide road, and that the white lines have less traction. Great work, comparable or even better than any "pro riding lessons"

I have few of mine to add, Firstly, make sure break lights of the bike functioning properly and use breaks as early as possible, when need arrives, gradually slowing to provide enough time for vehicle behind to react. Secondly, when vehicle ahead slows, never overtake the vehicle in hurry. Finally for highways, follow a vehicle doing speeds at which you are cruising. Keeping good breaking distance. It helps to avoid the risks of dealing with pedestrians/vehicles jumping in front as there is a vehicle in front clearing the way 🙂

VERY Important tips... I also met an accident at 2011 by watching sideways(may be girls), the front disc shoes were removed by mechanic just before the accident and I was going to buy a new pair of disc shoes(pulser 180 P Classic model) without the front brake. That was only and only my fault and was a big lesson me.

Good tips apart from your opinion that "one finger is more than enough for today's motorcycle brakes". I used to do "1 finger braking" ever since I started riding from 19 years back and that became my habit until I had to do "rider safe advanced course" for my South Australian motorcycle licence. There my instructor was picking me on a single thing, which was my 1 finger use. He clearly told me that use of 1 finger to brake is not enough to pass their assessment. Minimum of 2 finger use was a safety requirement to pass and his suggestion was 3 to practice.

I'd also like to add a point. Whatever you do guys, always in ride your limits. If your bike is capable of 120 doesn't mean you should be riding at 120 in a narrow road. Understand the road you're driving, the traffic parameters and the road conditions. Also you should be experienced with the motorcycle you're riding. Remember the bike shouldn't ride you, you should ride the bike.

Want to add this: use the right gear for the right speed to utilize engine braking optimally, instead of depending only on brake. Turning at a high speed can be dangerous with today's heavy bikes that would require countersteer.
