Stansted airport charge £3.50 for up to 10 minutes to pick someone up or drop them off at the terminal. Here is how you can avoid this charge! There is a lot more info in the blog so I would advise reading that.

@@laumart4758 it worked for me but I literally had only few minutes to spare. By the time you park and wait for the bus and get into the airport you have to do it over again. So only had less than 10 min in the actual airport. The rest was parking and bus ride. But yes I didn't payed a thing.

I have read somewhere else than due to covid it is now at the blue zone or something like that... and I just want to make sure where I'm going to pick up my mum (as I also need to tell her and help her with the signs at the airport as she doesn't speak English at all, yikes!)

The express drop-off point is on a one-way road that lacks any substantial signage explaining the 'ransom' that is forced upon drivers at the barriers at the end of it. This is most likely deliberate in order to catch new visitors to the airport and extort them.

hello i believe so but im not 100% sure about that in terms of covid. i think they have moved the free set down to maybe the blue car park, but it is signed. i would recommend looking on stansted airports website or contacting them on twitter.
