I recently had a procedure under Propofol. I was instructed to take omeprazole the night before and morning of the procedure to prevent nausea. First time I'd ever heard that!

Laparoscopic surgery gives one nausea. Therefore I always ask for anti nausea pills. My plastic surgeon mention to me that breast surgery of any kind causes nausea. A lot of surgeons don’t do that.

Hi I have done nose surgery 4 days ago and I had very bad nausea and vomiting for 24 hours is it normal or not ?I am worried about my breathing because I felt lots of pressure in my nose during that?

Don't most surgeons give intra-operative steroids to help prevent nausea, too?
