I think the higher rep ranges are actually harder if they are hypertrophy workouts because you're going closer to failure on each set. Whereas pure strength training like 5 x 5 you are using more weight but you aren't going near failure AND you should be resting more between sets. You can actually train strength with higher weight nearly every day.

Nate hit the nail in the head when at 29:23 he mentioned situation in relationships, where (and I've experienced this myself) one goes "oh, you're just tired/hungry/didn't sleep well". This is the last thing a person wants to hear that moment.

Obviously doing too much. Perhaps consider going to the low volume plan and replace one strength day with a restorative day (ie yin yoga).

We agree! Changing up your volume is a great tactic we recommend to avoid overdoing it. :)
