There is a way simpler version to do this. Theres an app caled WoWUp its an addon manager like curseforge but less bloated and way faster. It can create both an export string of your current addons which you can just save and import it later, and can do a backup RAR file with all of your addon settings, just by clicking one button which you can apply instantly after copying back the backup rar.

1. All of your local settings are stored in the "WTF" folder under the WoW program directory. This includes addon and game settings. 2. All of the addon executable files are stored in the "Interface" folder under the WoW program directory.
