What if your playing corner and you know the receiver is going deep, do you turn around and run with him or do you use the back pedal all the way
@chuckbarkley27553 жыл бұрын
You want to backpedal until he breaks a cushion where you feel comfortable to be able to run with him, than turn and run get to his hip and turn ur head when u can touch him while ur riding him to da sideline

Hey Coach is my right foot always up first or does it depend on what side of the field your on
@marcusriosofficial2 жыл бұрын
It depends on the side of the field your on. You always want the foot closest to the sideline up. For example if you’re playing left corner your left foot should be up. If on the right side then your right foot. Hope this helps. Keep working hard💪🏾💯

Yo Marcus what do I do if we’re on the line and he takes a step back to mess up my movement
@marcusriosofficial2 жыл бұрын
Just keep being patient and stay with your technique. Remember to also always have a plan at the line as well. When wrs do this they want you to lunge at them, open your hips, or gain ground. Stay firm at the line and let nothing change your technique💯

Why do you back step with the back foot first ?
@zaxflaya3 жыл бұрын
I hate how cornerbacks sometimes don’t turn around to look at the ball. They watch the receiver the whole play.

People have told me to have a wider stance so it’s easier to open up do you agree with that ?
