I recently just started doing videos and was running low on hard space on my PC and saw this at Wal Mart. A 4tb version for 89 dollars. Thanks for the video because it help me see it's a decent option.

Yes at this price you can't really fault it much. Just beware that extended usage may deteriorate its performance and worst case scenario, the HDD inside will fail. So always have multiple backups of important files. Personally, for my most critical stuff, I store them in NVMe SSDs.

I am considering getting the 18TB version some day, only because I have so much stuff on 2 portable 5TB SSD's and a 4TB SSD that I'd very much like to keep.

Please, the external hard drive is Seagate 4 TB, can it work on the iPad Air 2 (iOS +13) Is it necessary to format the external hard drive on the Mac in order for it to work on the iPad Air 2

Hi, this works with iOS 10.14 onwards. You probably just need an adapter with USB-C to plug into your iPad Air.

@@uncleraymond I formatted the external hard drive on ExFat and transferred the data to the hard drive, but the external hard drive did not work on the iPad Air 2 (iOS 15) . What should I do ? yesido gs12 otg adapter lightning … I use it

@@m.liverpool5503 did the drive show up in your iPad? if it's been formatted with exFAT it should work with iOS. make sure the power to the external HDD is on too.

Hey… it might be quite loud for such a huge capacity drive but I’m thinking since you have in your home theatre room (lucky you!), it shouldn’t matter unless your watching your movies in an ultra low volume?

PlayStation should work with any external storage as long as there's a USB connection. I've seen people using Seagate Expansion drives with no issues.
