You bake like my mom. She's in her 70-ies and when she started cooking during her college years, recipes were not a thing yet. It was awesome to watch. I guess I'll invest in an oven sooner rather than later

Absolutely LOVE your book Fermenting with Your Best Friend. I am getting into cooking EVERYTHING and now I want to start making my own ferments. I highly recommend your book to all who want good conversation (in written form) and good recipes. Keep up the great work.

i like how you leave the door open to maybe one day growing choco chips, just not anytime soon.

This is awesome. Have you considered live streaming? Your stream of consciousness style could benefit from a live audience and the spontaneity of reality

I can 'cook by feels' most things, but for some reason baked stuff does not work for me. It looks like to me, for most them, if you put a little more of one thing, or a little less of another, you throw it off balance and end up with unwanted results. I've made plenty of baked messed up things. I need a scale for them. I am sure a professional baker can eyeball it, but I am an amateur.

Last time I tried to bake was in college. I got one of those boxed brownies where you only add the egg. Finished it, looked amazing. Bit in, and there was literally egg chunks in the brownie. How this is possible? Idk. My only guess is I didn’t mix well Lmao. The kitchen gods decided my fate was as a cook that day
