Great video! one question: Is it possible to do moving time-lapse with that setup even tough it's not compatible? I have the Nikon d7000 and just ordered the ak2000. what features am i missing out on by not having a compatible camera except for being able to control the camera through the gimbal itself?
@JJShankles4 жыл бұрын
I am still able to do moving timelapses, but you have to set them both manually. I have only used non-compatible cameras. I think you are only missing out on not being able to start and stop recording through the gimbal. I just reach up and start recording then use it

Thank you for the video! I just got my AK2000 to use with my D7100. Quick question though, is it still possible to use the auto rotation feature for motion timelapses with the gimbal if I connect the camera to it via a shutter release cord? Thought you might know if that would work

Hey mate, I'm having a lot of trouble balancing the panning arm. It is always rotating no matter how far I push the gauge in. I have it pushed in at 4+ on the ruler but it still rotates. It seems like it has to go up to 5 but it maxes out at 4+ and so it just can't possibly be balanced. Is there any way to work around this? I am currently using a Canon 200D with this.

One thing I have found that really helps is to set the Payload Setting on the gimbal's touch screen off of auto detect. I use level 2 and it is perfectly smooth for me. What camera are you using with it?
@MrCbike5 жыл бұрын
I am using an a6000 with sigma 10-20 and a Sony a mount to e mount adapter. I did try setting it in setting two and it is definitely better. But the gimbal still seems to kind of freak out and not stay completely level

Does it bounce, or just drift off of level after using it? Pressing the button to the top left of the touchscreen will bring it back to level.

Just got this gimbal today and theres something bizzare about it. I cannot balance the gimbal properly level on its side the bottom arm thats marked 1to5 in increments cannot slide to mark 5. On the bottom of the arm theres a plastic wire/bumper stop piece thats preventing it from sliding. I actually had to take this off which expose's the wire to get it to slide to mark number 5. Why is this i never had this problem with a feiyutech gimbal its seems like a design flaw any answers to this would be nice. I use a panasonic g7 with kit lense
