You're the first person I've watched that can show how to balance the Pan correctly. Thanks for making this.

Sir please Guide us for movi pro app smooth settings please send me reply sir

Everyone has different settings they like. Here's what I typically like to use: Window set 2 or 3, Smoothing between 10-12. That works for me for handheld work, but I find everyone likes something a little different.

random question: how do you have that bike rack mounted to C-Stand?
@gfuterfas5 жыл бұрын
I drilled a 3/8" hole in the middle of the metal, and stuck the gobo-head's bolt through. I recommend a titanium bit, but it'll go through that metal pretty easily. The hook is called a garage hook, and I got it at Lowes for $6. www.lowes.com/pd/Blue-Hawk-12-8-in-Gray-Steel-Utility-Hook/50218517

Hey Graham, this is a totally off topic but i figure your a good guy to ask. With the Movi Pro's Mimic, Can i actually control focus and iris on a RED camera with any EF mount lens with out gears? do i need the RED RCP cable from freefly to do this? Thanks in advance!
@gfuterfas6 жыл бұрын
I'm not 100% sure, but I recently heard there's no Focus or Iris control through the RED RCP. You could use the built in FIZ and a Bush Pilot to do focus on EF lenses.... I attach a Redrock gear to my Canon lenses and use my Heden motor for this. Maybe you could use Fool Control for Iris? Not sure. Or use PL or Cinema lenses that have geared focus and iris rings.
@arealemceetobe6 жыл бұрын
Thanks Graham, so just to be clear, your're saying I could use the bush pilot and the mimic together, and need nothing else to control an Ef lens focus and iris?
@gfuterfas6 жыл бұрын
No. You can't control Iris that way at all. To do focus, you'd need Bush Pilot, a lens motor that's compatible with the Freefly built-in FIZ, and a Freefly FIZ Cable, plus probably a clamp-on lens gear for your EF lens.

Doesn't the Movi Pro auto tunes itself?
@gfuterfas7 жыл бұрын
John Henkam Gangte yes, it auto tunes the motors, but you need to balance the weight before tuning.
