I'm an adult beginner, and I've been really struggling with this step for months! I've been searching all over for a good video explanation, and yours is absolutely the best! Saving to favourites, I'm definitely going to be revisiting it when in doubt! 😭🙏🏻

Hey girl. I’m a 41 year old recently returned to ballet after 20+ years out. Your videos have been helping me recall all my training. Edit: I’m also salty due to chronic pain. Living in suburban Pennsylvania Thanks ❤

You are amazing!!!!!!!!!! I've watched many of your videos, and your explanations are different from the typical teachers'- it doesn't try to make it difficult for the sake of difficulty (not sure how to put it, but something like, being secretive about what exactly to do, and trying to force students to find out the hard way? perhaps that's a more traditional way to learn... I don't know. I am an adult learner, but would like to really learn and improve, not just do it as an exercise.), anyway so it really makes you feel like you can do it... it really really helps! Hope everything is going great with you, sincerely, and wish you a beautiful future!

Thank you, I’m an adult student (61). I take a class with older students and I’m always looking for tutorials to share with them. I also teach the younger preschool students and assist in older classes. Anyhow, your videos are really good. You’re a good teacher, love you style of keeping clean, clear to the point instructions. Very good thank you.

Question... if you were doing this combo en pointe, would you.. out of the down... up... up... just the first ‘up’ be en pointe and the second ‘up’ on demi pointe? Or would both ups be en pointe.
@SaltySugarPlum5 жыл бұрын
you dont really go all the way up en pointe for a waltz, it would look too bouncy and clunky . it would be like a really high demi pointe, implying pointe, but not actually going up on the box, similar to balancé
