My biggest challenge is putting too much into a losing session. Breaking up how much you bring with you helps, but sticking to loss limits is the key. I'm guilty of thinking some kind of hit must be coming if I just dumped x into it and got no hits at all. Chasing can turn a losing session into a bad one real fast.

Even the off strip casinos do not carry these older games. I run into 0.25 - 9 line games more often than not. I also learned lately been lucky bank roll build up by playing mid bet 2 or 5 cent denom. I don’t know how you guys feel about that suggestion.

Many of the casinos I visit no longer have the old 3 reel or those bingo red screen machines. So my go to for bankroll building is OG buffalo or buffalo deluxe. Nothing else really seems to build like those do. Yeah they are boring, but its about building up to play the fun ones. 😀

Normally the way I build my bankroll is playing a dollar classic wheel slot machine and normally on that, I always hit a decent hit and sometimes hand pay jackpot, and the budget I do that is $150-300 and when I do loose with in that budget, I take break like going to a bar to have little drink and go to the room.

When the casinos have the machines set to suck mode it's hard to build up your bankroll. I'm in Southwest Minnesota and the Minnesota, South Dakota, and Iowa casinos don't pay out from September thru February. March thru August is better with July and August being the best. It's unfortunate, because winter is when I like to play - but it's also the casino industry's slow season.

Nothing wrong with that, as long as you understand that by you switching machines, it didn't increase your chances of winning. You just got lucky. Switching machines is good practice though, breaks up the cycle and allows you to "Reset" a bit.

My hot take is that every once in awhile if you’re gonna gamble you might as well do bigger bets and be alittle more risky. I’d rather do 300 dollars 5-15 dollars a spin depending on the volatility of the machine. For example, 2 dollar denom (12 dollars a spin) on top dollar with 300 dollars has done very well for me. As long as you can stomach losing quicker I say go for it because you could potentially get a bigger pay out. If you bank roll build and it doesn’t work you’re already down a good bit and it’s hard to rebuild from there
