Wow. Weeks on one sentence! I really was so frustrated watching your videos thinking why don’t i understand like she does. Then i heard the Holy Spirit tell me to keep reading the same scriptures over and over. Stop thinking i need to read something new every day. God is so good

That's when the real revelation comes when we allow the word of God to marinate all the way down on our inner person. We need to observe how a cow digestive system works and apply that spiritually to our time in the Word of God and have a pen and paper ready to write down what God will reveal to you. Then, move on from there and pick up some bible study aids. And never forgot the fresh revelation that the Holy Spirit has revealed to you. That first revelation is known as a Rhema word, and that can transform your spiritual walk and fresh new way. This is what the bible is telling us when it says to meditate on God's Word. Then don't forget to celebrate God for what He's opened up the eyes of our understanding to behold the unsearchable riches of His Word. Selah

She’s right about listening to too many voices on KZbin. Six years ago, I was obsessively listening to numerous preachers teachers sermons on a daily basis. And I got so confused that I was convinced I wasn’t saved. It messed with my head so bad I fell into so many bad doctrines. I got into the whole demonslayer teaching. when I finally got out of that I fell into legalism and trying to earn back my salvation, and trying to earn God‘s love. This year, by the grace of God He is helping me get in His word and helping me to get back to the basics. I now know that I am truly saved and have been for the last 26 years. All the glory of God. 🙌

That's beautiful how God is patient with us when we don't understand. I struggled with legalism for two years as well, was even worried that it might be so engrained in me that I wouldn't be able to believe differently. However, God's grace is consistent throughout the Bible and is so compelling; the way he loves is so powerful that legalism totally contradicts... and he blessed me to be surrounded by seasoned people full of compassion and grace so that I could see him through them.. praise God for the things he has brought us through!❤

You don’t have to be earn His love because it’s already been given to you. Condemnation and lies from the enemy can make you believe you have to do things for God to love you. Yes, it’s important to keep His commandments but if you mess up don’t harp on it and fall into a depression about it. Repent, pray, and keep fighting the good fight.

I got caught up in all these fake Tik Tok/You tube marriage ministries, demon slaying yelling screaming prayer groups. So messed up😢, so much money spent and a year later in the same place. Prophets for profits. I started seeing ungodly behavior and attitudes. Shut down when asking questions or concerns. I am so sad for the women still trapped in this perverted teaching. I canceled all groups. I feel God convicted me. Now, I read the Bible, pray daily and I fast. I attend a physical church. I’m just wondering why God let me get caught up when I went in with the most sincere heart to love him and restore my family 😢

I definitely went through that phase of watching church on KZbin and listening to motivational speakers disguised as preachers. I just rejoined a local church after 6 years. It feels amazing to fellowship in person with other believers in Jesus Christ.

you probably wont even read this - but i live in NZ and ive been listening to Jackie for about a year and bit now. my first time coming across anything Jackie Hill Perry was because i typed on youtube 'how to study the bible' and her video was the first that i clicked on and since then ive been hooked. i tell so many people in my circle that my perspective changed about Jesus and how i walk with him daily all because i found Jackie by simply searching on youtube 'how to study the bible'. i tell people Jackie discipled me since without even having to meet her. fast forward to today and im listening to this sermon!!! i have no words!!!

I watched how to study the Bible too, it was so revealing I had to download it., crazy how she mentioned she didn’t want to record that clip but the Holy Spirit just wouldn’t let her. I love her obedience. Jackie is truly a blessing to me . She helped me , Holy Spirit through her helped change my perspective of the Bible. I enjoyed how she preached it and taught it with so much ease. She made me curious about Jesus and the Bible. She’s just more than a blessing to the body of Christ ❤

@@Lulubonnie111 100% i mean i grew up in the church and if it werent for Jackie i wouldnt have changed my perspective on how to view Jesus but also change my life by how i serve him too. she also made me curious about the word and how to interrogate the word by not relying on your assumptions but relying on the holy spirit for guidance. i can tell you that the way i dive deep into the word has never been the same since. her books have also inspired me and my husband and many of my friends. i pray for her ministry because i know that shes reaching more and more people like me.

I was immediately reminded of when Jackie told Preston and Priscilla Shirer that she wishes she didn't need her notes to preach. Look at God! Maybe you weren't "prepared" because you were trying to prepare your old way. Maybe God's doing what you asked! What a good God.

What a word. It really isn't about us and that's hot home. I know it's so easy to go to the Bible searching for what's applicable to me from God's point and having the Christicentric perpective shifts everything. It's also in how in the past, I've been quick to rebuke others, thinking they needed to be reminded of God's way rather than being empathetic and showing them more of Christ that Holy Spirit has renewed my mind on. I will run with this and seek God first as He desires, trust Holy Spirit's leading especially as He helps me cultivate my gift of teaching. I know He wants so many to be lovers of His Word and imitators of Christ. Here's to faithful discipling and seeking God so much more. To know Him is to love Him🙏

I needed to hear this! I get discouraged, distracted, and lack patience soon as something doesn’t make sense. I begin reading just to read not even remembering what I read. I search the web to find those persons who are preaching the word I have read. It is totally amazing what some of these people preach. I am on this website because Brother Mitchell is one of just a few that are actually preaching the word. Admonishing in the wrong we are doing. Letting us know how the Church is suppose to operate. The Church is the body of Christ and if we don't measure up then we are not part of the body. Thank you for this ministry.

Let me tell you! This has been so encouraging and correcting. When I told someone I have been in John for over a year and only in chapter 12, they laughed and I felt I should move on but I didn’t get what I needed for chapter 12 so I sat there. But sitting with a text with God is me working and trying to understand an infinite God.

I listen to this sermon word of Jackie's on my commute to work every morning I try to find one of your videos old or new new world whichever way you want to put it to give me a uplift spirit to come to this job where the morale has been drop so low that I just want to make it through today here but today you're listening on my way to work you have dropped so many gyms on ways to read the Bible ways to look at the Bible the people of the Bible the different books in the Bible because the three points of how we feel about the Bible has been all three of my points not knowing how to read it how to approach it and where to start from has been my lack of getting into it raised up in the church Sunday school Bible study classes regular service devotions Granny didn't play that you had to be at everything church and not just show voice makes me convicted to wanted to know more and learn more and my day and age everything you spoke is true is right on point Thank you Thank you so much Thank you for your 60 day devotional you put out Thank you for being Jackie Hill Perry and so real.
